Used Equipment & Uniform Donation

Thank you to everyone who donated used clothing and equipment on June 7 and 8.  The BYSC will continue to collect used soccer items throughout the season.

BYSC Ontario Cup Champions !!!

The girls U12 Tornados and U16 Sting teams were triumphant in their Ontario Cup finals, respectively defeating Etobicoke and N. London by scores of 1-0. Both teams played great soccer and fully deserved their wins. Congratulations to coaches Neil Schofield and Casey Downey and their staff and players.  

Following their success in winning the Ontario Cup, the U16 girls Sting team  advanced to the semi finals of the National championships in Nova Scotia. The Sting  defeated NWT 10-0, New Bruswick 2-0 and Manitoba 4-1 to reach the semi's. Unfortunately, despite out shooting their Quebec opponents 21-3, the Sting could not find the back of the net after losing an early goal and fell 1-0. 

They did however rebound to beat Alberta 3-0 to win the bronze and were also awarded the CSA Fair Play trophy. Great display girls. Congratulations to the Sting team, coach Casey Downey and staff for a great season.
