Are you a current U14 to U18 player interested in becoming a coach OR completing your community service hours doing something you love… BECOME a “Coach-In-Training”.
The objective of this NEW program is to provide coaching experience for current BYSC athletes aspiring to coach soccer by training them and providing them with valuable volunteer opportunities within BYSC youth programs. Coaches-In-Training would develop team building, problem solving and communication skills under the supervision of certified technical staff.
Being a Coach-In-Training includes:
Training covering leadership, interactions with children, coaching methodology, problem solving, effective supervision, customer service, risk management, communication and work ethic skills.
Volunteer opportunities in BYSC programs such as: summer camps, School of Soccer, Embracing Ability, and House League+ based on applicant availability and interest.
The BYSC is always looking for individuals to join our team of dedicated volunteers. BYSC Club Volunteers help with the preparation, execution and set up/tear down of club & community special events. We are seeking dedicated, hardworking and passionate individuals who are willing to volunteers their time to help the BYSC while completing volunteer requirements for post-secondary diplomas. Being a BYSC Club Volunteer mean you could potentially be helping in the office, on the field and even in the community. The convenor is a key figure of our house league programs. Tasked with being a representative of an age division for our programs, the convenor is the first point of contact for parents, coaches, and players regarding league information and issues, and acts as a liaison to the Recreation Administrator.
